With Two MC9S12DP512 Micro-controllers from Freescale

One configured as a Master which handles and controls all IOs such as Keypad, LCD, Serial Communication and Ethernet Communication.

Other Micro-controller a Slave to the Master which executes Road control logic for sequencing and algorithm execution of Traffic Light at the junction.

The card interfaces to a 4 Line character LCD display

The card interfaces to a 4x4 matrix Keypad

One 10/100Mbps Ethernet Port

Eight Numbers of additional Serial ports to communicate to Loop detector cards controlling a Maximum of 16 loops

One Spartan 3E 250K gate FPGA to execute and control Traffic light drive and Feedback signals to all the roads

Card Capable of controlling up to eight roads in total

The Master Micro-controller captures 12 opto-isolated discrete inputs
